With the growing support and demand for medical marijuana in West Virginia, new dispensaries are in the works.
The Landing Dispensary will be located at 3507 U.S. 60 at Huntington, and they will be hosting a grand opening event from 11am-3pm on Friday, July 15th. Patients and caregivers will be able to shop a wide variety of products, meet staff, and schedule consultations during the event.
This new addition will be the third dispensary announced in the Mountain State, and soon there will be many more. Currently, there is only one operational dispensary: Terra Leaf on 3rd Avenue, and Truelieve will be opening on 5th Avenue this September.
Owner Dave Heeter has been a West Virginia resident his entire life, and understands the importance and benefits of medical marijuana. “When the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Act was signed into law, I wanted to ensure there would be a West-Virginia owned and operated company in the program,” Heeter said.
“Our overall goal is to give back to the community we come from and bring high-quality medicine and jobs to the state.”

The first 100 patients who show up at the grand opening will receive branded “swag bags”, discounts, and food and drink. The food will be provided by the Southside Sliders food truck.
If you are not yet registered with the state’s medical marijuana program at the time of the event, the company will offer on-site physician recommendations to those qualified.
The recommendations will be offered at a discounted price of $120, with an additional $50 charge if a diagnosis is needed.
